Another beloved TV show is close to the chopping block. And yet again, its loyal fans are attempting to stave off the execution. With the writers strike over, a number of shows are in limbo as network executives plot their new schedules. Most notably, the fate of "Friday Night Lights" hangs in the balance. The hourlong drama, based on the 1990 book by H.G. Bissinger, focuses on a high school football team in Dillon, Texas. It's a deftly written (and elegantly scored) series about a small town in which football is both a blessing and a curse. For its first season, the Writers Guild Awards nominated it for best drama series. A critic for The New York Times has gushed: "I love `Friday Night Lights.'" Some reports have suggested NBC wants to bring back "Friday Night Lights," which was in the midst of its second season when the strike halted production.

It is amazing how confused people are on the term muscle car. Superchargers, three two barrel carbs, two four barrel carbs, big engines, were used on many pre 1964 vehicles but in low numbers or non affordable to the general population. Nitrous was around well before 1964. Lots of race type engines could be purchased in a vehicle but basically only a professional racer could aquire one. For example Pontiac put lots of 389's their Pontiacs in 1959, is this a muscle car? No. Pontiac developed a S.D.421 engine in 1961 only for race cars, not their production cars. The four barrel was used for oval track racing (professional), and the two barrel version for drag racing (professional).

All of Hillary's business and political success has been predicated on her husband's political position at the time. The one time we all know Hillary was put in charge of something (by her President husband no less), Universal Health Care, she, thanks be to God, failed miserably. As far as I see, she has no rhetoric and no results. Having Hillary as a woman President for a change is not change enough. .

Told the Rocky Mountain News, 'If I can help people focus on preparedness, how to be better prepared in their homes and better prepared in their businesses - because that goes straight to the bottom line - then I hope I can help the country in some way.' That fancy office, I learned, was in the high-rent posh office suite of Joe M. Allbaugh, who ran President George W. Bush's first campaign for the White House. For his loyalty, but certainly with almost no knowledge of emergency management, Allbaugh became Mr. Bush's first FEMA director before he resigned to become a consultant and lobbyist. Allbaugh bestowed the nation's disaster response upon his college buddy Michael Brown.
